Adelpha cytherea, the Smooth-banded Sister, is a species of butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the Central and South America. This is a common species of rainforest and pre-montane cloudforest habitats. It occurs at elevations between 0-1200m along forest edges, in large light gaps, and in secondary forest.
This one was captured at Orquideas del Tolima, just outside of Ibagué, Tolima, Colombia
