Description
One of several waterfalls found in the Natural Reserve "La Pastora" dot the mountainous jungle landscape in the foothills of "Los Nevados" (Snow Peaks) of four bordering states in Colombia; Tolima, Risaralda, Quindo and Caldas formed by three active volcanos "El Ruiz, El Tolima and Santa Isabel. However, many of the waterfalls do not have their source in the snow melt but in the many springs which are found right in the mountains themselves. This is one of the waterfalls which has its source in mountain springs which come right out of the mountains themselves!
Taken at The Natural Reserve "La Pastora" in the state of Risaralda, Colombia, S.A.

What a fantastic place and capture! So lush and green and the water must be very clean! It reminds me of the place near her called Big Springs where millions of gallons of water gush from the spring each day! f/love!!

Yes, it was awesome! I could have spent a few days in this Nature Reserve...next time! They say the mountains are literally full of water and these waterfalls are proof. The waterfalls come from these springs!
