Description
A new twist on combination lock, this owner shows how it was done and how it is now done. The combination of the old and the new bring together a strange irony. It was tempting to photoshop out the new one to focus on the old one but the irony kept it. Texture using Skeletalmess texture used to enhance the natural texture.

Wonderful work, Blair!! Great color and textures. I love how the light focus on the new lock enhances the contrast with the old lock.

Thank you so much for your great comment!! Yes, that contrast was quite glaring and I was struck by the juxtaposition!

Hi Blair...I like your image very much. Very sharp and nice soft light. Well done...Bob
Blair Wainman replied:
Thanks Bob!! I'm learning a lot about these textures...more texture is not necessarily better...more the challenge is how to find the right texture to blend with the image!

A very unique comparative shot, Blair! I like the contrast of the new and old, and the deep rich hues of the wood adds a special touch. I also enjoyed reading your description, as it is interesting to know something about the subject and objective of a piece. Thanks for sharing!
Blair Wainman replied:
Thanks Randy!! Yea, the contrast was too striking to take out! It belongs! Thanks for your great comment!
