One of three active volcanoes in the central Cordilleran Range of the Andes Mountains of Colombia, this volcano reaches an altitude of 5200 Meters, just over 17,000 feet above sea level, it is high enough to maintain snow year round. However, with temperatures warming the snowpack is melting at an alarming rate.
