Description
The Great Sandhills and River Routes area contains one of the largest set of active sand dunes in Canada. The Great Sandhills are protected and lie within the Great Sandhills Ecological Reserve.
The Great Sandhills cover 1,900 square kilometers and rise 50 feet above the ground. The dunes are always moving, creating an ever-changing landscape.
