Description
A roadside park with a natural setting and sub-alpine lake, Nancy Greene Provincial Park is a welcoming site for weary travellers. Tucked in the Monashee Mountains it is a popular overnight stop for tourists and also provides day use opportunities for local residents wishing to escape the summer heat of the valley. It is the perfect place to enjoy fishing, picnicking, walking, swimming, boating and in winter nordic skiing. The special feature in the park is the sub alpine lake. The park is strategically located at the intersection of highway 3B and 3, a short drive from two major communities (Rossland and Castlegar, British Columbia, Canada.) It provides some spectacular encounters in nature with wildlife and birds alike!

Wow Blair! Bright and brilliant and stunning! I see a little ripple to the left, did a fish jump? Looks like I am right in a boat!
Blair Wainman replied:
Thank you Erica!! You know, I think it was a fish that surfaced at that moment...a bald eagle had been successful only a few moments earlier in capturing one!
